Terms of Service
Last updated 5 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Reeveel (“Reeveel”, “we”, “us”), the face-matched event photo-sharing service at reeveelme.com and our mobile apps. By using Reeveel, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
The service
Reeveel lets hosts collect event photos in one place and lets guests receive the photos they appear in after a live-selfie check. Some features require a paid plan. We may change, add, or remove features over time.
Accounts
You need an account to host events or upload photos (guests can receive their own photos without one). You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country, and at least 16, to hold an account.
Your responsibilities as a host or uploader
When you create an event or upload photos, you confirm that:
- You have the right to upload and share those photos.
- You have any consent required from the people in them for face-matched sharing, in line with the laws that apply to you.
- For events involving children, you use the children’s-event setting, which turns face search off.
- You will not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or use Reeveel to harass or violate anyone’s privacy.
You are responsible for the content of your events. We may remove content or suspend events or accounts that break these terms or the law.
The face check
The live-selfie check is a voluntary step a guest takes to find their own photos. You agree not to attempt to defeat, spoof, or misuse it, or to use Reeveel to obtain photos of people you have no right to access.
Your content and ownership
You keep ownership of the photos and content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process (including face detection for matching), thumbnail, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate the service for you and your event’s participants. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for backups or records kept for a short, ordinary period.
Plans, payments, and refunds
Some events and studio features require payment. Per-event plans are one-time charges that unlock an event’s limits; studio plans, where offered, are recurring subscriptions. Prices are shown before you pay and, during our beta, may change. Payments are handled by our payment processors. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable — contact us if something went wrong and we’ll try to make it right.
Deletion and expiry
Events auto-delete at the end of their retention window, and their photos and faceprints are removed then. You can delete your account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Beta service
Reeveel is offered during a beta period. It is provided “as is”, may contain bugs, and may change or be interrupted. Please don’t rely on it as the only copy of important photos.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reeveel is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Reeveel and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, or to protect the service and its users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We’ll update the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use Reeveel after changes means you accept them.
